We don’t always recognise the signs – headaches, anger, fatigue, restlessness, insomnia, indigestion, high blood pressure. We are holding on to tension, day in and day out.
It’s so important to allow our mind and bodies to switch off, to relax otherwise we risk a burn-off. Unfortunately, not many of us find the time to do it or know how to relax. There is always that last thing to finish, the last email to send.
When we allow ourselves to relax properly, even for 5-10 minutes, we notice that our minds slow down, breathing becomes calmer, blood pressure normalises. We feel more balanced somehow, able to function again.
What I offer businesses is a set of practical skills that I can teach your teams. These skills would provide a long-term benefit to your employees.
I explain what to look out for in stressful situations, what cognitive and/or behavioural tools to use to reduce the impact of stress. Stress is always going to be there, but our responses can change.
We’ll investigate how to break the cycles of anxiety and stress, how to listen to our bodies’ early signals of burnout. I teach mindfulness and relaxation techniques that would stay with you for the rest of your life and can be adapted for any situation.
I offer group and one-to-one sessions for businesses and key individuals. You’ll be able to see results after just one or two sessions. All workshops are tailored to your specific business needs.
